Located on the outskirts of the village of Vilobí d'Onyar, Can Barceló is a farmhouse with historical documentation dating back to the XIV century. Today, the primary agricultural activity consists of walnut and cereals production.

The house is ideally situated in a valley between th massifs of the Guilleries and Gavarres mountain ranges, a few minutes drive south of Girona, capital of the province, and only a few kilometers from the spectacular Costa Brava. Can Barceló is easily accessible by car, within 4 kms of both the Eix Transversal, Motorway A7 and the Spanish National Highway (N_II).
The village thermal springs, derived from the extinct to volcano La Crosa, the headwaters of the river Onyar, and other tranquil sites are all within walking or cycling distance of the house.
Within a few kilometers of the house, you can enjoy the world-renown Costa Brava beaches of Tossa de Mar, Lloret, and Blanes and the nearby thermal springs of Caldes de Malavella. In addition, a visit to the Roman and medieval ruins of Sta Coloma de Farners will be an unforgettable experience.
